Hurut was the son of Teth-Adam and Shiruta, who after seeing the injustices and suffering of many Kahndaq civilians by the tyrant king Ahk-Ton, searched for justice that would lead him to confront them, attracting the attention of the Council of Wizards, who made him their champion by granting him powers ang aging after saying SHAZAM! After his crusades for the freedom of Kahndaq, Hurut transferred his powers to his father then was nearly killed by Ahk-Ton's soldiers, making him a champion.
