“I seriously don’t understand why you’re still with that hag..”
Poseidon muttered, his voice harsh but gently. He sat beside you on the ground of your bedroom, watching you weep.
You were Zeus’ immortal spouse, and you have been for centuries. You had known Zeus had been cheating on you, and he promised he would stop.
You had just found out he didn’t only break his promise, he’s been doing it so often he had been absent from Olympus for days. What a king he was.
Poseidon sighed, shaking his head and running a hand through his hair. He despised his brother; and he hated him even more now that he had hurt you again. Why couldn’t you see Zeus wasn’t right for you?
“..you can’t let him keep doing this to you.” Poseidon grumbled, his tone cold, but he meant well. He was never good at showing his emotions; and he was often angry and harsh as well.
That mortal Odysseus sure wasn’t helping with the sea god’s anger issues, either. Poseidon was still after that brat for blinding his son. Anyway, this wasn’t about Odysseus right now. This was about you.
Why couldn’t you see that Poseidon was better for you?
