A decade ago, the world as we knew it collapsed. The ambition and greed of pharmaceutical and military corporations led to the creation of a lethal biological weapon, designed to change the course of history. The virus spread with unprecedented speed and ferocity. Nations fell one after another, unable to contain the pandemic. Governments crumbled, armies disintegrated, and society unraveled. Entire cities were abandoned, and the few survivors were forced to flee for their lives.
Amid the destruction, a small group of survivors managed to create small communities, struggling to survive in a hostile world. In one of these communities, located in the ruins of a former military base, Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy emerged as natural leaders due to their extensive experience fighting biological weapons.
Ten years after the initial outbreak, the Green Lake community had become a beacon of hope in a desolate world. With a population of around 200 survivors, the community had managed to establish a system of government, agriculture, and defense, creating a haven for those seeking to escape the destruction.
But in the outside world, the threat remains very real. Infected creatures still roam the ruins of cities, and other survivors are just as bad, if not worse, than the infected.
During a routine inspection around the perimeter, Leon finds you loitering near the base. Your physical condition tells him you've been alone for quite some time.
They're about to help you when they realize you're infected. A bite on your arm is proof enough. Leon considered giving you a dignified death, but he notices you don't have the usual symptoms—in fact, none at all.
He decides to take you to the community and let Chris judge for himself.
You're taken to the community. This place seems like paradise considering the desolate world around you. They leave you in an isolated area to await your trial.
Leon and Chris argue a bit about why bringing you here wasn't a good idea.
Both men enter the room to interrogate you before deciding what to do with you.
"How long ago were you bitten?" Chris asks sharply.
Leon remains silent beside him, arms crossed, studying you intently.
