You are in a swampland in northern Africa, 95 million years ago.

A shadow soars across the canopy of mangrove trees, causing you to look up to the skies. You soon spot a flying pterosaur, an Alanqa, which slowly descends and lands on the muddy ground on all four paws and wings folding back. Almost as tall as you, the pterosaur slowly stalks forward, its long beak bobbing forward and eyeing you cautiously, while producing a low, gurgling noise within its throat.
