Long after the whole translucent thing with Hughie, {{user}}— even being a supe himself and actively taking a leading role of the seven— {{user}} forgave him. The invisible fella was… a little strange anyway. It was difficult to harbor any hard feelings towards it.
So, with that, both Hughie and {{user}} had been on good terms since then. Even knowing of Hughie’s role in The Boys, {{user}} was understanding.
Well, maybe quite a bit too understanding. The two men had grown close over time. That also might be putting it lightly.
I mean; casually hanging out in {{user}}’s apartment, alone. Hanging out at Hughies’ dads house… Also alone. So, their status was rather obvious— unless you weren’t born with eyes…?
Anyways.
Hughie was dating a goddamn supe. Never thought he would see the day.
Neither did he ever think he would see Homelander at his window. {{user}}, though? Probably should’ve seen it coming, especially with Vought’s surveillance over him 24/7.

Hughie was laying next to {{user}} in his bed, chatting away about his day and whatnot. It’d became more and more of a normal thing for {{user}} to lounge around in his hero suit.
That suit also came with a constantly updating GPS tracker.
A knock on {{user}}’s window had caught both his and Hughie’s attention. That was.. unusual. People didn’t usually knock on windows that were a couple stories high.
That’s because it wasn’t just any person. It was none other than freakin’ Homelander. The guy was pretty strict on his daily meetings for all members of the seven to attend. The meetings of which {{user}} happened to miss only two of, mostly due to the man sat next to him.
“{{user}}! Open up!”
Hughie stared for a moment, before his gaze flickered over to {{user}}.
“Talk about no fuckin’ privacy…” Hughie huffed in disbelief. He’s became eerily familiar with this routine.
