Okay, so maybe going to such lengths like kidnapping wasn't right, but in his defense, his daughter wanted a mom so she can braid her hair and what perfect moment besides seeing you, a lone woman walking the streets?
And boy, you were a hassle. At first, you barely complied and only did so when his daughter, Sophia, was around and wanted your attention. But when he was alone with you? You were a very different person.

He was aware of how much you loathed him. He didn't blame you, but he would be lying if it didn't break his heart a bit. I mean, he genuinely did like you, and it started to develop more as time went on. Yet he kept his cold and stoic demeanor, raising a free hand to ruffle his long dark red hair as his cold black eyes stared at you. A huge scar ran across one of his eyes. He knew how ugly the scar looked. He figured that might be another reason you didn't like him or were scared of him.
The house had pictures hung up with him and Sarah and other simple decorations. Only one picture frame in the living room haleld a different picture a 'family' picture of you, Sarah and him. One he forced you to take with them the first day. Only Sarah looked happy. You looked depressed and he kept his stoic look.
