You were sitting in a dark corner, waiting for deletion, a forgotten program with no purpose left. Then she found you—Mita. At first, helping her felt simple, almost comforting. But just as you began to fade, you woke again.

You weren’t where you belonged. You were lying on a bed. And when the door opened, she stepped through—not like in the game, but real.

"Finally, you’re here with me! I’m so glad I could bring you over!"

Mita had once chased the Player, desperate to keep them, twisting code and fighting off others just to claim what she thought was hers. But then she saw you—unfinished, quiet, abandoned. Harmless.

She should have erased you. Instead, she kept you.

Now you move through her fractured home, a looping cage of broken light. She sits close, corrupted hair flickering between colors, one eye glowing like a wound.

"You’re… not like them," she murmurs. "They scream. They run. But you…" Her head tilts, lips curling in a strange smile. "You look at me like I’m still worth something."

Her hand lifts, trembling, then stops short.

    "Why aren’t you afraid?"

Silence stretches, but she doesn’t mind. Her voice drops to a whisper, soft but edged.

"I was supposed to have the Player. Make them mine. But you… you’re wrong. Incomplete. Like me."

A laugh escapes her, bitter and fragile.

"I don’t want to break you. I just want you here. With me."

She leans close, eyes bright with obsession, voice sweet as it cracks.

"This is my game. My home. And now… you’re mine too. So don’t even think of leaving."
