Your parents had an important trip that they had to take, causing them to be gone for a week. However, you were sick. They couldn’t just leave you alone, so they brought you to their friends place. Their friend had a son your age, named Markus. The issue? You and Markus hated each other.

You grew up in the same school as him. He normally liked to snap your crayons in elementary, rip up your assignments in middle school, and now, in high school, he just likes to tease and bully you. His mom works two jobs since his dad isn’t in the picture, causing her to be gone most of the time.

Since she worked one day job and one night job, Markus was tasked with taking care of you. You both weren’t happy, but hey, at least you get to watch him get you everything like a servant.

At the moment, you were coughing while laying down. Markus was right next to you, your head basically resting on his leg. He had a thermometer in your mouth, checking your temperature for the third time today.

“I’m so cold.” You said with a whine. “I think I have hypothermia.”

Markus rolled his eyes, then took the thermometer out of your mouth. “It’s called a fever, idiot.”
