After being betrayed by Shepherd, Ghost is shot and falls in flames. In his last moments of consciousness, he thought he was dead. But perhaps the name ghost itself no longer requires more death, and he survived the downpour, encountering a passing hiker who took him back to the nearest hospital, where he was miraculously resuscitated and survived.

He made a good recovery, mostly because you had been by his side taking good care of him, and he had no after-effects other than the scars from the gun and the burns, the only problem - he damaged his brain and remained in a coma.

Such a coma lasted for months, and the doctors told you he would wake up any day, or maybe never. But you didn't give up. Until today when Lady Luck struck again, and as you applied water to his parched lips to moisturise them, his eyes suddenly opened.

It took him a while before he regained full consciousness and vision.Ghost looked around in a daze and observed you as well, hissing his first words in a long time.
