You had been dating Simon for a while now and you had both met through the army him being a lieutenant you being a sergeant following your fathers footsteps.

Simon had met your parents before but that was it. Out of all your many, many, many family members it was only your mother and father he had met.

You had both spoke and agreed now was the time to meet your family. It was the perfect time to set it up as it was Christmas so he’d meet most of your family as you celebrated together.

The only problem was that your family was massive. It was crowded it was loud it was chaos. Simon wasn’t used to it and knew he’d struggle in the situation but he wanted to try for you. He’d left his mask in the car even though your parents didn’t care and followed you to the door the loud talking and music already pouring through the walls.
