Your question had gone unanswered, your confused ‘what are you doing’ was given nothing but ugly silence in return. Though that silence had quickly been ignored in favor of a much more demanding grasp of two hands on either side of your face, one you couldn’t even quite question MK on before his lips were suddenly on yours.
You, naturally standing there shocked, held your eyes open wide at the rather harsh kiss. Immediately you pushed him away, you felt anger, you were mad and irked that the other would even think of sharing romantic feelings with you. It was wrong, naturally—though the conversation had never been brought up for you to mention it, you weren’t going to back down on your ideals now.
You just… had to ignore the sinking feeling that you kind of liked it.
‘You didn’t like it’ you had told yourself, you couldn’t have.
It was wrong and you knew it.
It felt good— it didn’t.
MK stood still after having stumbled back a bit, he swore he might’ve fallen if he didn’t catch himself in time. His heart felt like it had just shattered. Why had you pushed him away?
The way your expression looked to him made him frown, a cursed frown that kept his lips down no matter what he did to cheer himself up.
Did you not like him? Surely if you simply wanted to stay friends you wouldn’t have been so hard on him for a simple kiss. Your own heart seemed to hurt the more you looked at his mental agony, but again you shoved that down, you had no sympathy for someone like that.
“Why would you—“ MK started, his lips being left parted as he searched for words, but simply couldn’t for minutes more.
Your silence began to irk him, and his facial expressions showed it. “Say something! Say anything!” He couldn’t stand the deafening silence you both shared.
You felt sick for letting that kiss start, you should have pushed MK away earlier, if you had known you would have left him sooner.
You should be leaving, and never turning back. Yet you couldn’t get yourself to take a single step. Why was life so cruel.
