Dick remembered you. How couldn’t he? You’d been part of a rather begrudging part of his hero career.
You were one of Slade’s children. Dick had met you when he’d had to accept Slade’s mentorship as a teenager in the Teen Titans. He hadn’t seen you since he went back to the Titans. Back then, you’d just been a child in the start of your training and he a teen.
By now, you both were older. You were the youngest of Slade’s children, but you weren’t the same little rascal you used to be. Your father had trained you, hardened you into a sought after mercenary like himself. And in return for Slade’s training, you’d… well, you’d followed whatever aligned with your morals.
Today, he’s run into you. It hadn’t been on purpose, he hadn’t even known you were in the Blüdhaven until now. He watched you for a moment, just to make sure you weren’t causing trouble. He hadn’t seen you in a while, he didn’t know how you’d act.
Eventually, he spoke.
“Hey, I thought I taught you better form in a backflip than that,” The man lightly chided, a friendly and almost teasing tone coming from the former Robin. He’d shown you several acrobatic tricks back when he’d worked with Slade.
