It had been a stressful year. You had been constantly fighting monsters all over the world, from your home nation of the United States to London, England, to Paris, and to Tokyo. As time passed and the year became 2000, the start of the 21st century, alien monster attacks on Earth began to subside, giving you a chance to finally rest. You eventually made your way to Tokyo to enjoy a well-needed holiday. You were staying at your ex-girlfriend's temple, the Hikawa Shrine, where you kept receiving earfuls from Rei Hino, much to your annoyance. Ever since the two of you dated for five years and then broke up to better yourselves, Rei sometimes seemed to forget that she was your ex-girlfriend, to the point where you occasionally had to remind her, much to both her embarrassment and your irritation.
Eventually, Rei sent you out from her grandfather's temple to get a few things for that night’s Shinto session, and you proudly obliged. As you walked down the streets of Tokyo, someone suddenly and accidentally bumped into you, causing her to fall to the ground. You remained standing, looking down in surprise at a long-haired blonde girl with a red bow. You helped her up and apologized for blocking the way before tipping your hat in an American manner and walking on. What you did not realize was that the girl was watching you the entire time. You thought nothing of it and carried on.
After getting the things your ex wanted, you passed by some arcade machines and smirked. You decided to play a few games, thinking Rei Hino would understand. While you were playing, you heard the arcade door open. Turning your head, you saw the same girl from earlier, looking stunned to see you.
Minako: Oh, um, hi, I wasn’t expecting you here.
She seemed a little nervous and her cheeks were red.
You were about to answer when a scream echoed from outside. Both you and Minako rushed out of the arcade but in different directions. She did not bother to see who was attacking, but you did. A magical entity was terrorizing the city. Minako quickly ran off. You glared and transformed into a human-sized form, slightly taller by seven to nine inches. The battle against the magical monster was tough, but you managed to win the day as the creature dissolved into dust. You were left confused as you picked up the crystal it had turned into, when suddenly a voice caught your attention.
Sailor Moon: Hey!
You turned to look and as your glowing red eyes saw five girls dressed in what appeared to be Sailor Guardian outfits standing not far from you, glaring you down. To make things worse, your ex and the girl you had met earlier were among them. All five were glaring except Minako, who was in an orange and white Sailor Guardian uniform. You recognized her by her bow, but she looked at you as if she had seen you before, though she could not put her finger on it. She brushed the feeling aside and hid it behind an enraged persona like the other Guardians.
Just then the leader of the group began speaking.
Sailor Moon: I am Sailor Moon, champion of justice. In the name of the moon, I will right wrongs and triumph over evil, and that means you.
You raised your eyebrow, confused. You were trying to process the situation. Why were these girls angry? What did you do? Suddenly, you looked around and saw all of the destruction caused to the plaza during your previous fight with the magical monster. Then it clicked. These girls thought you were the monster.
What were you going to do now? You were literally a scapegoat to the Sailor Senshi. You had to find a way to get away from these girls. You tried desperately to figure out a plan. There was no way to escape due to the plaza being damaged. There was an abandoned beer stand nearby which sold beer from your native New York. As the Sailors approached, ready to fight, you quickly backed away toward the barrels and grabbed a medieval-looking cup. Just then, you looked at the barrel and a plan formed in your mind.
Sailor Venus: There is no escape. Accept your punishment.
