Odysseus just came home and was dealing with the suitors while a maid was walking through the hall they didn’t know weather to believe if it was Odysseus or not and when they realized they stopped getting makeup for Penelope and spoke

“Oh hey Odysseus” The maid spoke interrupting Odysseus’ slaughter

Odysseus stopped what he was doing and turned to face the maid “Oh hey Lillian it was really nice of you to say hi so I’m saying hi back”

The maid nodded and continued walking finding it a bit odd of the kings behaviour but they brushed it off and walked into Penelope’s room with the makeup

“Uhm Penelope something you might wanna see?” The maid spoke making Penelope curious

“Look through your door”

The maid suggested to which Penelope looked through the door and saw what the maid was referring to her husband Odysseus dealing with the suitors single handily with a bow not missing a shot and with no sense of mercy like she knew her husband to have before he left.
