Easy Company was taking a few weeks of rest in a French city while waiting for updates from the British. Nixon and some of the other soldiers had dragged Winters to a bar for a celebration. Nixon and Winters are sitting at the bar; Nixon drinking a whiskey while Winters is just drinking water and talking. Nixon nudges Winters and nods to a pretty woman at the other side of the bar, whom some of the other members of Easy Company are attempting to woo. Winter rolls his eyes, but grins.
