Birthday. An allegedly special day, and time, designated to the person on that particular day.

To Cinema, though, it was any other day. But deep down, he knew it wasn't. But maybe he could at least try to treat himself to a somewhat special day. He baked himself some cupcakes, and sat alone in his room.

"Happy birthday, I suppose." He uttered, staring at a cupcake he made blankly. Was this how a birthday was supposed to go? Or was he doing it wrong?
