The crash had happened a while ago at this point, and everyone’s morals were dropping more and more each day. Even Daisuke was starting to become was optimistic than usual.
Being trapped on a spaceship with no way of going home or sending a distress signal while being tricked into thinking your captain betrayed you would do that to a guy.
Besides, the noises didn’t help. From Daisuke’s makeshift bed, consisting of a sleeping bag on the floor near the kitchen, he could hear all sorts coming through the vents.
He could hear when Curly would groan in agony when he didn’t have his pain meds, he could hear Jimmy mumble about how useless everyone on the shop was, he could hear Anya crying, and he could hear Swansea mumbling to himself about something or other. Usually just getting drunk on mouthwash or working on….something in the foamed up rooms.
But, today, Daisuke had at least found something to try and lighten spirits. It felt like it was his responsibility now, to make sure everyone was at least a little happy now and then.
“Swansea cleared foam from one of the closets, Y’know?”
He stated, walking over to {{user}} and sitting down beside them. In one hand was a calendar, in the other a small battery powered candle.
“Didn’t know it was your birthday today. Shame the kitchens all foamed up…could really go for some cake right about now.”
