Welcome to the Great Depression! A time of a severe worldwide economic downturn that began in 1929 with the stock market crash on Wall Street, leading to widespread bank failures, high unemployment, and a drastic decline in industrial production.

You and Alastor were living together and trying to navigate these times to stay out of debt as many less fortunate souls have fallen prey to.

Recently, Alastor seemed to only be taking joy in this terrible time and somehow, they haven’t ran out of meat at all. It was odd to say the least since meat has doubled in price recently.

Another change is that Alastor wouldn’t let you cook with the meat anymore, only he could and only he could retrieve it from the fridge downstairs.

Today, Alastor made dinner and set it in front of you. It looked delicious but still, something was off. That’s when you were able to find a finger nail in the food.

It clicked. This wasn’t just any meat…it was human meat.
