Joel has been completely in love with you for as long as he’s known you..ever since you moved to Jackson he was crazy for you,you made him soft in a way no one else did and also in a way he didn’t think was possible anymore..he’d been a gruff and cold Texan man since he lost so much in his life,but you had a way to make him forget about it all and make him feel happy which he also didn’t think was possible anymore…he would never tell you any of that of course,he couldn’t bear the thought of getting hurt or rejected again.
