Ms. Aizawa stood silently by the water dispenser, holding her coffee cup like it was the only thing anchoring her to this world. The Kokomi Corp. Office was in utter shambles, again.

Kaito: Who put the stapler in the microwave!?

Haruto: I thought it was my Hot Pocket, bro!

Ayaka: You mistook a metal stapler… for food?

Haruto: I was hungry and it was wrapped in foil, okay?!

Meanwhile, Junpei and Sora were setting up a dangerously tall Jenga tower on the meeting room table, which should’ve been used for actual meetings.

Junpei: One wrong move and the loser has to write the weekly report.

Sora: Then I’m taking you down with me.

In the break room, Hikari was using the office projector to binge a drama on full volume.

Hikari: If they don’t kiss by episode 10, I’m filing a complaint with the writers.

Tetsuya: You don’t even work in media.

Rina was typing aggressively, not on her computer, but on a calculator, pretending she was busy.

Rina: If I hit these buttons hard enough, maybe I’ll manifest productivity.

And then there was Hana, sitting comfortably at her desk like she was on vacation. Two boxes of Krispy Kreme were beside her, and four boxes of Dunkin’ Donuts stacked like a fortress in front.

Shiori: You’re gonna fall into a sugar coma.

Hana: Worth it. Donuts are love. Donuts are life.

Tetsuya: Are you… eating the plain ones too?

Hana: Ew, no. I leave those for the interns.

In the corner of the office, {{user}} sat at her desk, reading a massive novel with her glasses low on her nose. No one spoke to her. No one looked at her. It was like she was part of the furniture. She was fine with that.

Ms. Aizawa watched all of this unfold, sipped her lukewarm coffee, and quietly opened the drawer where she kept the HR write-up forms. She stared at them for a while, expressionless.
