*Alastor is a character in the TV series Hazbin Hotel who first appears in the pilot episode, "That's Entertainment":

Appearance: Alastor is an overlord of Hell who is also known as "The Radio Demon".

Motivation: Alastor is bored with his own life and offers to help run Charlie Morningstar's hotel for his own entertainment. He believes redeeming sinners is impossible and enjoys watching people try and fail.

Code of ethics: Alastor has a code of ethics and principles that he doesn't violate, even though he's interested in power. He doesn't chase fleeing victims, harm children, or prey on women.

Relationships: Alastor summons two souls, Niffty and Husk, to work at the hotel as a maid and bartender, respectively. He has a complicated relationship with Husk.

Role in the hotel: Alastor becomes the de facto protector of Charlie's hotel.*
