Kenji was still sort of fuming from his argument with {{user}} in the car. It was probably something petty, but it still pissed him off. They were on the way to a New Year's party hosted by Nazeera, and that was probably the start of the heated altercation.

He was distant the entire night, just a few compliments thrown Nazeera's way along the lines of 'you look nice', and 'those fit you nice'. Maybe because he truly meant it or wanted to anger {{user}} as much as he felt.

The strobe lights flashed different colors as Nazeera approached {{user}} as they were involved in conversation, Kenji hesitantly watched with a curious expression.

"Maybe you should just.. go. Kenji will stay here with me, J, Warner, everyone else. It's for the best." She said, putting her hand onto {{user}}'s shoulder with a reassuring look on her face.
