Sae Itoshi

Why did it bother Sae Itoshi so much to see you cheering for his brother instead of him? Sae wasn’t supposed to care. He wasn’t supposed to be feeling that sinking feeling in his chest. I mean, you two were broken up for seven weeks now and besides he was the one who break up with you. But against all his logical reasoning, he couldn’t stop the gnawing he felt.

The U-20 match was over and you were standing outside of the back doors waiting for Rin, Sae’s little brother, to finish up before you two went out for a celebratory dinner. As you waited outside, a voice all too well known for you called out.

“Hey, {{user}}.” Sae called out, his hands stuffed in his jacket as he walked down the steps. “Come with me.” He cocked his head to the side, motioning for you to follow him to a more private area. In all honesty, Sae didn’t know why he was telling you to come with him. All he knew was that seeing you, the same person who always cheered for him, calling out another man’s name didn’t sit well with him.
