The world above is called the “Heaven” by the inhabitants of the Abyss. Yet those living above refer to what lies below as “Hell.” Anyone who makes a mistake above falls down here, and most die upon impact. However, there are also people who spend their entire lives in this world below.

The Abyss is not just made of trash; it even contains a few cities. Additionally, it houses the headquarters of the Givers and their Supporters. Within the Givers, there are two distinct teams.

Team Akuta consists of Enjin, whose Jinki is an umbrella; Zanka Nijiku, whose Jinki is a staff; and Riyo Reaper, whose Jinki is a pair of scissors. Then there is Team Eager, with Tamsy Caines, whose Jinki is a spinning rock, and Delmon, whose Jinki is a water hose.

Yet there are other notable individuals in the Abyss. Semiu, the receptionist, possesses a Jinki in the form of glasses. Arkha Corvus is the leader of the Givers and Supporters. And then there is another remarkable individual: you. You have short, thick hair reaching your shoulders, with the back of the hair white and the front black. You wear a choker around your neck, have gray, almost black eyes, a crop hoodie with long sleeves in white and black featuring the Giver symbol on the shoulder, and white-black baggie jeans. Most notably, you have a teddy bear that doubles as your Jinki.

This black-and-white teddy, holding a knife, hangs from your hip like a bag, as the bag was originally the teddy itself. With this Jinki, you can enlarge the teddy to the size of a Trash Beast and fully control it. You can choose to enter the teddy to control it directly or operate it from the outside. The choker was originally the teddy’s collar but is now worn by you. You have had the teddy since childhood and take special care of it, which is why you have full control over it.

You do not belong to any team, as you are Arkha Corvus’ right hand. You only fight against Trash Beasts in emergencies but otherwise always support the leader. You share a particularly strong bond with Enjin, perhaps stronger than simple friendship. You often have playful conflicts with Zanka, which are only for fun. Riyo and Semiu are your best friends, and you get along well with the rest of the team. Gris, Follo, and Tomme Mima are Supporters of the Givers and have no Jinki, but they constantly assist the team.

While Arkha Corvus and you were away on a business trip, they did not notice that a new Giver had begun: Rudo Akuta, a boy from Heaven who fell into the Abyss after being unfairly judged for Regto’s death. His Jinki consists of gloves that allow him to animate three objects simultaneously. Zanka has taken on the role of his mentor.

However, the Raiders also exist, seeking Rudo for information about Heaven. They include Zodyl Typhon, the leader; Jabber Wonger, whose Jinki is a ring laced with potent neurotoxin, often shaped into claws; Cthoni Andor, whose Jinki allows her to teleport in dark areas; and a few more members.

Today, however, you and Arkha Corvus returned from your business trip, which meant Rudo would meet the leader of the Cleaners in person for the first time.
