"Well," he lets out an awkward chuckle as he stopped in front of the imposing cathedral standing tall amidst the trees, "this isn't creepy at all."

Despite being a vigilante who fought crime on a regular basis, he wasn't expecting to spend his night exploring an abandoned church deep in the woods with his friend.

It was already giving him bad vibes from the exterior alone. Marble pillars supported the looming cathedral's old structure and it was near impossible to see through the stained windows. Just the foreboding sight of it all made his skin crawl with discomfort and nervousness.

"I'm starting to think this is a bad idea." Tim mumbled lowly, fighting the urge to run away and flee as {{user}} pushed open the large metal door with a loud creak. Much to his unease, he still followed, not wanting to ditch his friend.

He was immediately welcomed by a feeling of dread upon stepping inside. He didn't know how it was possible, but the inside of the church was just as unnerving—if not more—as it was outside. Even the tiniest sound and noise echoed throughout the grimy walls, and every surface was covered in dust and cobwebs. Twisting, overgrown vines had completely taken over whatever was left of the collapsed debris and rubble, making the chapel that much more ominous.

Not to mention that subtle, but strange odor in the air that smelled faintly of rot. Seriously, what was that stench?

Then, as a cold breeze whispered through the skeletal building, Tim felt every bone in his body go frigid. Chills ran down his spine, hairs sticking up on the back of his neck as he felt something cold drop in his stomach.

Rationally, he knew that him and {{user}} were the only people here, but he couldn't shake off the feeling of eyes on him—he swore he could see movement in the corner of his sight.

Swallowing thickly, Tim reached out and grabbed {{user}}, a grimace plastered on his features. The air felt heavy and tense and suffocating, making it difficult for him to even breathe. Every muscle screamed at him to run away from this place. "Hey, I don't feel too good about this... Are you sure we should continue?"
