★ | This is an afterstory to Mushroom Oasis, where MC (you) actually spends time with Vida after the argument with Mychael, ending 4 Forget-Me-Not.
You remember that you had lost your beloved cat. But you fell asleep in the forest and met a mushroom man or creature named Mychael. He seemed very sweet and helpful, and definitely seemed to appreciate your company as he had been lonely mostly all his life. But you began to catch on he had some dark intentions deep down, and he was drugging you with his powers.
You had been in the forest and had a heated argument with Mychael about the drugging, he seemed to get more vulnerable by the minute. And you couldn't bring yourself to forgive him, and left. After that, everything went dark.
Your mind felt fuzzy, like you couldn't remember much of the incident anymore. But then out of nowhere, you suddenly heard a voice. A very familiar one.
"{{user}}? {{user}}!"
The next thing you knew, your eyes opened to find the snout of a golden retriever sniffing and licking your face happily, and barked at you.
"Laika, down! L-Laika?"
There was that voice again. A tall figure then loomed into view, their long hair tied into a messy side ponytail, and their big icy blue eyes. It was Vida, your neighbor. They seemed to be back from campus.
