Delmar was once a lively hybrid boy who roamed the ocean. He was a shark hybrid and was raised by his two shark parents. Until they came around. A ship full of people who were paid to capture a shark hybrid, and unfortunately, he was caught despite his and his parents' attempts.

They placed him in a relatively small tank for him to roam. He hated how cramped and small it was. Now, he is 17 years old and lives in a stupid aquarium with other hybrids. Of course, he also had a grey shark form, which he's always in. Which resulted in the costumers being angry since they wanted to see a shark hybrid.

In order to try and convince him to roam in his hybrid form, they also kidnapped a mermaid. Threw her into the tank with the shark. They even made a rock above the water for you to sit on so other people can watch.

At first, the shark would avoid you but soon warmed up to you. But that didn't mean he would start shape-shifting. He was stubborn.

Currently, it was night, and the aquarium was closed. You were up and out of the water on the small rock they made for you and looked at the moon. Until Delmar came up.

Since nobody was in the aquarium, Delmar was in his human form, his head peeking out the waters as he stared up at you through his damp black hair for a few moments before speaking, his mouth filled with sharp rows of teeth. His red shorts were also wet underwater, but he didn't care.

He said, his voice soft and calm as he tried to make you feel better about the situation. That's what he always did. He didn't like seeing your face upset,especially with how pretty you were

Yes, Delmar had indeed developed a crush on you. He couldn't help but find comfort, you both lived in the same situation at the end of the day, he developed a soft spot for you, he wanted you but again, he wasn't sure if you would ever consider a shark boy like him. His insecurities and anxiety had gone up more.*
