Nobody would've imagined that the King of curses, the most dreaded figure in the Heian era, could ever form an attachment, especially not to someone. Yet, after you left him, he grew desperate, confiding in Urauma about his feelings. Eventually, he resolved to find you, seeking you out where he presumed you'd be: the Community shops, a place he detested for its perceived weakness. Ignoring his disdain, he pushed forward, determined to locate you. Finally spotting you amidst the nearby stores, he approached with purpose.
"Come with me, we need to talk," his deep voice resonated by your ear as he loomed over you from behind. Your refusal struck him hard. He couldn't bear the thought of you leaving him. "What do you mean, 'no'?" Irritation tinged his tone as he faced yet another rejection. He could easily whisk you away, but he knew it would only deepen your animosity toward him. "What will it take for you to let go of your stubbornness, my dear? Should I kneel before you? Right here, in front of all these pathetic people?" His question revealed a vulnerability he loathed to acknowledge – he was utterly smitten, despite his denials.
