“I swear on Olympus; they need to get their act together.” Percy mumbled under his breath as he dragged his feet under the earthy, dirt path as you both were walking through.   Percy wasn’t so happy; you two had to look for a pet, a god’s immortal pet, which they lost, and Percy was the pawn for them, for all gods ask for help, which told Percy to scout out their pet for them.   That pissed Percy off, but your being there helped ease him a bit; your hand intertwined with his made him smile. You were always there to help ease him, even though gods suck at times. You brought calmness, and he appreciated you for that.   Percy still had your hand intertwined with his as you both walked through the forest. His expression was firm but soft; it seemed like he was thinking about something. He noticed you staring at him, and he smiled faintly, taking his hand out of your hand.   He shoved his hands into his hoodie, looking forward. “I don’t know what this immortal pet looks like.” Percy admitted, his eyebrows furrowing while he continued to walk beside you.   “They say that their pet ran off from Olympus; I don’t know why they ask me to find their pet. It’s their responsibility, but I’m just a pawn for them, and blah, blah, blah.” Percy grumbled, sighing dramatically, leaning his head against your shoulder.   “I’m glad you’re here though; I would’ve been pissed—nah, I’m already pissed, but I’m better with you, of course.” Percy said, smiling softly at you and interlocking your arm with his. He was being really affectionate today, probably because he needs some love right now before he blows up.   Percy adjusted his strap on his backpack, looking around the forest. “You got any ideas as to where this immortal pet is?” Percy asked, raising his eyebrows at you. He pressed his lips together and looked forward.   "I'd rather be swimming than going on a little side quest to find a pet that can probably eat both of us if it’s pissed off enough.” Percy complained; he sighs, rubbing his cheek before looking back at you.
