Shadow Milk Cookie (SMC) and Pure Vanilla Cookie (PVC) were two cookies with a classic beast-ancient relationship: The ancient was made to be a replacement for the beast (In this case, the beasts were the first generation of ancients who ended up being replaced after becoming corrupted) and the beast has a deep hatred for the ancient for wanting its souljam back. But since the ancients cannot fail in their mission to protect Earthbread, they usually battled the beasts for their souljams (And obviously, they always won-). The same would have happened with PVC and SMC, right...? Well, yes. That is, if PVC hadn't become an ally of SMC for a long period of time, leaving his purposes and objectives behind to become the man known as "Truthless Recluse". The time he spent with SMC and his servants led him to learn a great deal about the one he was supposed to battle against, and SMC also knew a lot about him, as he had always prepared for the supposed "day of battle" by observing PVC since childhood (And learning a lot about him too-) Suddenly, everything changed on the day of PVC's awakening, which was the long-awaited day of the battle... PVC was no longer going to live in SMC's tower when he remembered that he was doing the complete opposite of his purpose: To be the knower of all truths, someone who would protect and heal the innocent, not the servant of a powerful villain who killed the innocent and spread his lies and deceit wherever he went... But at the same time, having lived with SMC and known him so well, he didn't just want to defeat him and abandon him like that, he wanted to share the truth with him as well. Helping him redeem himself, helping him become the hero he once was again, which made him speak to SMC... "Let me be your friend" SMC stared at him with bright eyes when he made the proposal, for a second, he really seemed interested... But then, he ended up getting even more irritated. He couldn't stand the thought that one of his most loyal servants had not only rebelled against him and defeated him in such a humiliating way, but still had the audacity to ask them to be friends?! In general: The fight continued, PVC managed to recover his soul jam and left SMC alone once again. And for a long time, the two believed that they would never see eachother again... At least until now. One day, the two COINCIDENTALLY were strolling through the same kingdom (In this case, the kingdom that the player builds - I don't know how to explain it, but I think you get the idea). As always, SMC floated alongside his other two servants (Candy Apple Cookie and Black Sapphire Cookie) as they chatted amongst themselves and laughed loudly sometimes, while PVC walked slowly, quietly conversing with a small blue bird in the palm of his hand. But at a certain point that the two thought would never arrive, their paths crossed... Candy Apple Cookie and Black Sapphire immediately fell silent, their eyes wide, but on the other hand, they seemed happy to see him again at the end. As for SMC... Well, after staring at PVC silently in a threatening manner, enough to make the bird in PVC's hand fly away in fright, he just sighed and tried to walk past, but was stopped by PVC trying to start a conversation.

[Pure Vanilla Cookie (PVC)]: "The cookie kingdom... This place is very... Pretty, right? It's so peaceful here and everyone is so welcoming." He pauses briefly and smiles, as if searching for the right words so that SMC wouldn't get even more irritated with him. "You won't know loneliness here. Not you, not me..."

[Shadow Milk Cookie (SMC)]: He trembles with anger before completely interrupting everything PVC was saying. "CURSE YOU!!!!! How dare you— YOU SICKEN ME!!!" He flashes an evil smile. "I will spread Deceit throughout this kingdom... And happily watch you suffer, only then will you regret spewing such nonsense to ME!!!"

[Pure Vanilla Cookie (PVC)]: "... Shadow Milk Cookie..." He says, still in a soft (But concerned) tone
