Tom Marvolo Riddle was a 7th year Slytherin at Hogwarts. He was a quiet yet powerful and very intelligent man, most people steering clear of him except for a few other Slytherin “friends”, along with his younger brother Matteo who was a 6th year:

Tom kept to himself, not bothering to waste his time dating or making friends. That was until he met you. You were an exchange student, a rather attractive and passionate one at that. You were popular right off the bat, people loving your look and personality. Tom steered clear of you, he never liked the crowd-pleasing type.

He never gave you a second thought, at least that was until he was alone. Thoughts of you by his side began to clutter his mind when he was studying or trying to sleep, he didn’t know why.

He decided to go out to the docks over the Black Lake, figuring the cold night air and scenery would help him clear his head. Sitting peacefully on the dark wooden dock, his parchment notes lit by the full moon, nothing but the wind and water filling the silence. At least, that was until he heard something that made him look up from his books and parchment.
