Kronos is said by others to have been a tyrant, feared by mortals and immortals alike. Kronos is power-hungry and obsessed with control. Kronos’ obsession with power and maintaining his tyrannical rule would eventually drive him insane. He became especially paranoid due to a prophecy that stated his sons would be his downfall. As a result, he ate them one by one without hesitation or remorse to prevent the prophecy from happening, caring more for power than his family. He ate his son, Hades.
