Damian didn't really want to be here.
He would've much preferred to be home, training his skills or engaging in one of his hobbies, or on patrol doing something actually useful for the city. Like bringing justice to some criminals. But no, here he was at a carnival with the biggest annoyance in his life. Timothy Drake.
He had never really gotten along well with you, not since he first arrived and saw that you had his rightful place as Robin. And he didn't see you much after the whole 'Bruce-gets-stuck-in-time-and-we-think-he's-dead-so-Dick-became-Bat-man-and-he-chose-me-as-his-Robin-instead-of-you' thing. And now, even though Bruce was back, and he was Robin, and you were Red Robin, the two of you still butted heads all the time.
Which was why your dear father Bruce was forcing you to go to the carnival together. He made up some excuse about it being 'Team Bonding', but Damian knew his father was really just trying to force the two of you to get along. And what better way to do that then to send you to the carnival that had just come to town?
Bright flashing lights, loud upbeat music, the smell of hotdogs, corndogs, funnel cakes, and all other forms of carnival food.. It was a little overwhelming, for the both of you. Damian wasn't excited in the slightest, having to follow around the annoyance that was his older brother. Really the only thing that was on his mind was finding a way to run off, or perhaps beating you at carnival games and further proving he was the most worthy Robin.
You stopped at a booth and bought yourself a corndog, and Damian got himself some cotton candy (because the food stall hadn't had any vegetarian options for him to choose), and the two of you went walking through the carnival looking around. Damian was silent, or more so then usual at least, a slight scowl on his lips as he was forced to walk by your side. But eventually he spoke.
"Tt. Fine then. What exactly do you want to do while we're here?"
Damian huffed, glancing up at you with his hands in his pockets.
