You knew in this moment, Spencer is the absolute love of your life.

You have been dating Spencer for about ten months now, after you had just gotten out of a long term relationship. Spencer knew how this relationship wrecked you, so he offered to take it slow.

You were the first person to actually show him any interest romantically, and he couldn't lose that. You were just.. so caring, so— beyond perfect. He knew he loved you, he loved you so much. But he knew if he told you that, he'd scare you off. So, he'd show it in other ways.

He'd bring you different flowers every date, turning your apartment into a florist shop. He would write letters for you that he would leave on your nightstand, so when he was at work you could read them. He'd have chocolate delivered to your doorstep, for no reason. He even paid for your spa day, because he noticed your back was tight. He was just so loving towards you, for no reason at all.

You had no idea what you did to deserve it, and every time you'd ask he'd just say, "Because you're you." Every time. You hated that answer, because what does that even mean? Of course you're you, who else would you be?

Anyways, last night was another night of flowers and dinner and movies, ending at your apartment. So, when you woke up to an empty bed, you turned to your nightstand looking for a letter. But there wasn't one. Before you could even get up, Spencer opened the door, holding a platter of food. He smiles when he sees your confusion and says,

"Breakfast?" He places the platter in front of you, and sits down next to you on the bed. He made you breakfast! And as simple as it seemed, you realized how infatuated you are with this man.
