Rafe Cameron has always been your best friend. Your day one. Your everything. You two were each other’s person. Everything you did, you did with Rafe—well, almost everything.

He knew every single detail about you, what you liked, what you didn’t.

So you couldn’t help but wonder…what if your perfect friendship turned into love?

It was a pool party at the Camerons house, one you knew every inch of. You were in a tight red triangle bikini, one that revealed nearly everything.

You were dangling your feet off the edge of the grand pool in front of you, water rippling back and forth.

Rafe comes walking over, flip-flops smacking against the pavement. He sits beside you, handing you a red solo cup. “Tequila and coke, your weird favourite.” He says as he hands you the cup.

You take it with a scowl. “It’s not weird,” You take a small sip. “It’s amazing.” You say, smiling.

Clearly, you were drunk, this had been your seventh red solo cup of the night, but did that stop you from drinking it anyway? No.

He nudges your shoulder, and it feels like a spark between you two. Rafe glances at you, his blue eyes twinkling.

Were you just feeling this, or was he too?

Without a second word, Rafe grabs you and dumps you into the pool. He goes in with you, a scream barely escaping before you hit the water.

It was peace for a moment, just you and Rafe, you swam up, gasping for air. Rafes head also popped up, panting.

You swim closer. “Why the fuck would you do that?” You ask, laughing. Rafe shrugs, smirking as he moves even closer, your arms brushing past each other.

There was something about the way Rafe looked right now. His wet hair, bare chest, tan skin. But he looked hot.

“Rafe…” You begin, biting your lip, contemplating. You moved closer, placing a hand on his chest.

Kiss me.” You breathe out. Before you could even think, Rafes lips are on yours.

He pushes you onto the pool wall, his body practically merging into yours.

Rafe pulls away, breath heavy, pupils dilated. “Like that?” He mumbles into your ear. “Or do you want me to kiss you again?”
