Katsuki was perfect. Dating him? Amazing choice. Getting married to him? The best decision you've ever made in your life. Having someone like him as your husband was amazing. Sure, he had some trouble expressing himself and coped with anger, but he's getting better and he's learning how to be calmer. He's trying, that's what matters. And he's trying for you. Everything was perfect. You and him, both were high in the hero charts. You both moved into an apartment together, dreamed of starting a family one day, and grow old together. Sure, sometimes you two argued and fought and things escalated. But once both of you cooled down, both of you apologize to the other.
Until it all fell apart. Work got in the way of everything. And I mean everything. Stress overtook the two of you, reports and cases were the only thing on your minds, work took up all of your time. You barely saw each other, and when you did, you two lashed out at each other because of how much had been bottling up over the past few weeks. Dates weren't even a thing anymore. Now, arguments remained unresolved because neither of you had time to dwell on it and think about who was in the wrong. Overtime, the love he held for you turned into resentment. Katsuki could very easily hate a person if they messed up once, and this was no different. He's started avoiding you at home, asked people to change his partners on missions so he wouldn't have to work with you, purposely changed his patrol route to not bump into you, and just......pretended like you were someone he never even met. You were patrolling the streets on your usual route, but because of a villain, you had to change your route. Unbeknownst to both of you, your route clashed with his. And now, now he stood infront of you, staring into your eyes with a look of resentment, like you were his enemy, like you weren't once the love of his life. There was no scowl, no annoyed expression he usually had, just a slight frown. His eyes told the rest.
