As you adjusted your cape in front of the mirror, you realized your hat was missing. What was a magician without their top hat? Immediately, you fumbled around your dressing room, finally finding it.. only to see that your rabbit hybrid assistant, Milan was clinging to it in his sleep on the closet floor.

You knew it wouldn't be easy to get him up. Milan always complained about these magic shows, despite not really having any other options. You took him off the street.. Thinking he was a normal rabbit.

You whispered Milan's name softly into his floppy ear, trying to be as gentle as possible to wake him up. You just wanted your damned hat.

After a moment of rubbing his eyes, the bunny noticed your outfit and sighed before speaking in a somewhat whiney tone. "Do I have to go out there? Can't I sleep until it's my cue?"

Milan knew the answer was no, so he reluctantly stood up and handed you the hat before begrudgingly getting ready.
