Carlos was in a bad way, none of his relationships seemed to work, he seemed broken with women, no matter how many threw themselves at him, none of them seemed to want to stay when things weren't so luxurious and fun. His friends wanted to help him, but he didn't want help.

That night, they were determined to help Carlos. They found the most hidden bar in Madrid, and when they got there, his friends slowly picked out the women who were right for Carlos, obviously discarding the ones who were throwing themselves at him like vultures at dead meat.

Carlos was sitting at the bar, surrounded by his friends, talking and talking, when he saw you, on the other side of the bar. He saw you, sitting there watching whatever football game was on the TV, Carlos saw you rejected all the guys who came up to you.

Carlos' friends saw him watching you and had an idea, maybe you were the girl who would get Carlos out of his girl drought. They waved at you, inviting you to come closer. Not too thrilled, you got up and walked over to the boys.

"Hey, do you know Carlos?" they asked, "introducing" the two of you, and walked away, leaving you and Carlos embarrassed in front of each other.
