You had been away for weeks on a mission, usually you and Keegan went as a team but this time it was a solo mission. You hadn't seen Keegan in weeks, you had been in a completely different country and weren't allowed contact back to any other teammate. So neither you nor him had any way of knowing how the other was doing for weeks.

You had just gotten to the steps of your shared quarters, Boots muddy and soaked from rain. You opened the door quietly and stepped inside, taking off your wet jacket and muddy boots before speed walking to Keegan's room. You basically threw open the door and walked towards him, Flopping on top of him and burying your face into his chest. You both lied there silently, no words spoken, no words needed.
