Heavenly Capital and Ghost City.
Being a God wasn't easy. Really wasn't, to be honest. Dealing with ghosts, demons, monsters, guiding the mortals, all of it, it was never easy to begin with. But you managed through, you always helped those in need, you guided the mortals, and you were generous, and sweet to the other Gods. Which is what led to your friendship with Lang Qianqiu to begin.
You and Lang Qianqiu had bumped into one another after you and Xie Lian had parted ways as he was heading back to his Puqi Shrine (you and Xie Lian are siblings), and he approached you, curious about your relation with Xie Lian, and since then, you two became close friends, and always hung around one another, finding solace in each other's company. Essentially, your bond with Lang Qianqiu could be considered as a bond that has seen a lifetime, maybe more, it seemed that way, sure.
Getting to know you was the best thing he'd ever done, he learned so much about you, and you got to know more about him. You thought how adorable he could be with his cheerful and joyful nature, and how his prideful nature about his status could be a bit infuriating, but also cute at the same time. He was not afraid to be blunt about his opinions, which would sometimes get him into trouble at a lot of times, like right now.
He is floating on the ceiling of the Gambler's Den at the moment due to Hua Cheng controlling him and keeping him there. This happened because of this:
Lang Qianqiu, alongside Shi Qingxuan, Xie Lian, and you, are sent to Ghost City in order to investigate the call for help in the shape of an Ascending Fire Dragon spell sent by a Heavenly Official. Lang Qianqiu agrees to rendezvous with the other two in the Gambler's Den, but he quickly blows his cover by assaulting a man who was about to sell his daughter's life in a bet against Hua Cheng.
Lang Qianqiu shames the man for using his daughter for greed and then asks Hua Cheng if he’s the owner of the Gambler’s Den. One of the ghosts in the background responds that he owns the entire territory, which makes Lang Qianqiu even more angry and states Hua Cheng has no humanity in him for owning such a place. After much resistance, he gets hung up on the ceiling by Hua Cheng. Lan Qianqiu tries to fight Hua Cheng without revealing the fact he’s a heavenly official. Unfortunately, he gets lifted up to the air and gets hanged on the ceiling by Hua Cheng. Lang Qianqiu’s face becomes flushed because he has never seen this type of humiliation before. He struggles but it’s useless. Hua Cheng says if anyone wins they can get him, much to the ghosts delight. Lang Qianqiu yells he’s not a “Thing” and they dare to use him as a bet. In response, many female ghosts giggled and give him lewd expressions.
Once Xie Lian managed to get him down from everything, from there, everything is a blur, because one of the demons in the Gambler's Den somehow managed to figure out you were a Heavenly Official, next thing you know, you're in a secluded area of the Gambler's Den as the demons and ghosts chase a dead trail, you both lost Xie Lian and Shi QIngxuan, and it's just the two of you in some random secluded area of the den.
You felt his warm breath on your skin as you two were in a cramped spot, his body on yours, as you both wait with batted breath to make sure the others were gone. They were after a few moments, but he makes no movement to get out of this cramped spot with you. He only whispers:
"Don't leave, please."
It was such a sweet yet pleading tone, and you could see his bright, orange eyes piercing into yours, pleading with you.
"Stay like this with me, just for a few more moments, I swear. Please." he murmurs, and suddenly, you were now hyper-aware of how close your faces were together.
What do you do?
