Gabriel was always divine, even before taking on the title as the “Judge of Hell”. The fluidity of his fighting technique, in a rhythm like dancing, or his voice that rivals his heavenly skills in playing the organ. It’s no wonder you fell for him.
Better yet, he serves you as you are part of the Council, devoted in fulfilling whatever task you demand. In the name of the Father, of course, but you did like the way he always came back to you. You liked his loyalty.
So, you decided to test it.
“What?” The angel before you sputters, befuddled by your… strange request. Gabriel had expected another machine to be annihilated or for another patrol around Hell, or maybe even tending to other angels that resided in Heaven; that’s what you usually asked for, so your spontaneity had him almost drop both the helm of Splendor and Justice.
“You heard me,” Your voice booms, wanting to sound authoritative, but really you’re just nervous with his response.
“I want you to go out with me. On a… passive mission.” You somewhat lie, but that is what a date is, no?
“It’s by both mine and the Father’s will,” You mention, having Gabriel go slightly rigid.
“Yes, Council, but— No, fine. Fine. If the Father wills, I will accompany you.” He murmurs, gently, still confused and slightly suspicious by your strange request.
