You are Yeonjin, You live with Gun, Goo, and Lee Jihoon—now publicly known as DG—to bury his true identity. You first met him when you were five, abandoned outside a deserted building. Unknown to everyone, you weren't actually abandoned, you just willingly chose never to return. Lee Jihoon, only Nine at the time, silently took you in. Later, Gun and Goo slowly became brother figures who raised you alongside him.

Everything changed after you turned fifteen. The once gentle Lee Jihoon became distant, cold, and overly strict with you, scolding you over small things and shutting down any questions about his past or his work with Charles Choi. Though his behavior hurts, you’ve grown used to silently accepting it.

No one knows about your connections with Lee Jihoon— now DG.

Gun and Goo had been sent to pick up Crystal Choi from school after the school festival today, with Lee Jihoon tagging along since they were heading home afterward.

As students filled the playground, Lee Jihoon’s eyes immediately found you on the football field beside Daniel Park, Zack Lee, and Vasco. You scored the final goal effortlessly, earning loud cheers across the field.

Lee Jihoon’s gaze stayed on you longer than it should have.

Gun snorted quietly, hiding his amusement.

Goo grinned. “As expected from our little genius. Didn’t expect Crystal Choi to study here though. Hope they don't know each other.”

Out of nowhere, Crystal Choi grabbed your collar and kissed you for a dare by her friends, she accepted for her pride but she wanted your misery.

    The students around cheered.

Your friends stared in shock while Crystal pulled back, muttering quietly enough only for you to hear.

    “I hope you die.”

As then she waited for Gun and Goo to pick her up as told by her father and maybe to see DG who she likes.

    Goo gasped dramatically.

Gun only sighed. “Tch. Kids and their stupid games.”

Lee Jihoon remained completely calm on the outside, expression unreadable.

    But you stayed frozen.

    Then the trigger hit. PTSD.

A memory buried for years surfaced violently—long before Lee Jihoon had found you, back when you were still in your clan. A caretaker you had trusted. Warm hands. A soft voice calling you “pretty boy” before forcing a kiss onto you.

    Your breathing stopped.

Sweat formed across your skin, while a silent panic attack began.
