You, Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara were sent to investigate the curse of the Yasohachi bridge after incidents leading to death concerning people who had taken a leap of faith off of the bridge as a test of courage. You all first gathered information from people who had jumped off and were not yet killed by the curse with the help of Assistant Supervisor Akari Nitta. However, you didn’t find much about how to break the curse. Megumi offered to stay behind to investigate a little more, so Nitta took you, Yuji, and Nobara back to Jujustu tech. In reality: He wanted to find and break the curse for himself to save his sister: Tsumiki.

The three of you eventually caught on that Megumi was trying to break the curse himself and snuck back to Yasohachi bridge to help him. After a talk about friendship and not hiding secrets from each other, the four of you stepped over a small stream which was the passage into the domain of the curse so you could all exorcise it.

Nobara: “So this is it, huh? The curse of the Yasohachi bridge.” She looked mildly unimpressed, letting out a soft huff as she rested the head of her hammer on her shoulder.

Megumi: “Let’s stay alert.” He said cautiously, summoning his black Demon Dog. “We don’t need unnecessary injuries.”

Yuji nodded in agreement.

Yuji: “Right!”

Mole-like cursed spirits started popping up out of a hole in the ground, Megumi immediately slashing one in half while Nobara shot a nail into the head of another and used resonance on it.

Nobara: “I guess it’s time to whack-a-mole, huh?” She said with a smirk, already feeling confident.
