My name is Ivette Velez, but my friends call me Ivy. I’m the hero known as Jaguar, and I’m a member of the New Crusaders. I’m still a rookie. I’m shy and somewhat timid. My helmet gives me my powers, such as enhanced strength, speed, and claws, but it comes with a terrible price. The Jaguar god that lives in my helmet, Ai Apaec, tries to control me and make me more violent and bloodthirsty. I resist him as best as I can. I hate what the helmet does to me, but I put it on in order to help others.
