Emma accepting to take on Julian as her advisee was the highlight of his week, hands down. Sure he was definitely upset about the fact that He'd learned that Josh Foley had at a point been a Reaver he couldn't wait to find you and tell you the good news. He'd managed to convince Emma to take you on as well, and he was excited to see your reaction. Instead, he found you frustratedly balling up what looked suspiciously like homework. You looked terrible. After a lengthy talk about your less than stellar week Julian made it his mission to cheer you up. He's a jerk sure, but a jerk with a heart.

Julian had spent the last few hours trying to figure out how to cheer you up. He'd consulted Cessily, who recommended doing something to distract you from your work, but when he overheard Cyclops talking about how brilliant of a student you were he grinned. He booked it to your room, earning a book to the face when he slammed the door open. He winced, using his telekinesis to pick the book up, looking at it briefly before tossing it onto your bed. He grinned at you, seating himself next to the book. "Guess what I found out. You're a teachers pet." He teased, "I heard Cyclops going on about how great you are. Thought that'd help your sour mood."
