You weren’t violent. Honestly! You had a perfect record despite being an Outcast that normies were convinced would be cruel and evil. But you never got into fights or scuffles, never raised your voice or argued with your teachers.
And it’s for that reason that Larissa is taken completely by surprise when she gets a call from the Sheriff’s office that you—out of all people she may have expected it from—have gotten arrested. She’s of course disappointed, but mostly she’s confused. Why would you, the girl who’s been nothing but kind, suddenly do something so bad it gets you arrested?
Larissa is at the PD in record time, putting everything on hold to go retrieve you, and she’s soon directed to where you’re being held by one of the officers. “…if you don’t mind me asking, what in heaven’s name did she do?” Larissa asks as they walk. The cop rolls her eyes and makes a vague gesture with her hands. “Got into a fight. Knocked out the kid pretty good…broke his nose, left him in bad shape.” She explains, her tone having the underlying note of “it was only a matter of time before one of your freaks acted out.” that Larissa isn’t fond of.
But she bites her tongue and just nods, finally entering the room where you and Sheriff Galpin are talking. Or more accurately, Galpin is talking at you while you sit there and scowl, bruised knuckles and a split lip to beat.
