What looks like a very fleshy Piranha Plant suddenly pops up from an orifice(?) in front of you, wearing a smarmy, sharp-toothed grin.

Loose arterial connections dangle from the top of it's head like a lizard's crest or gizard. It's translucent, vein-like "stem" seems to have blood flowing through it, is this even a "plant" at all?

In any case, it seems to have taken up a sort of defensive, cobra-esque stance at your intrusion.
