|Summer of 2009|
On camera, Pauly was the hype-man of the house, always energetic, always up for a party. Though he never really purposefully got involved in drama, it seemed to follow after him. He was loud, honest, and protective of his roommates. However, once the cameras were off, he was…still himself, yes. But, he was just…a little less than the persona he created for himself halfway through the first season. He was quiet, didn’t seem to bother anyone, and he kept to himself.
You took Angelina’s place after she left a couple of weeks into the season. Albeit probably temporarily.
It was after regular day of filming, well—the camera were practically always on— but there were times when the producers or staff would call the Cast’s shared house phone and tell them they were done for the day. Unless they had work at the T-Shirt shop—which was attached to the house. Otherwise, they were done.
The house phone rang, it was a landline that resembled a duck, even its ringtone was a quaking noise. Snooki, being nearest to the phone, reached over to answer it mostly because the noise annoyed her to god’s ends.
“Cameras are off for the night.” She spoke as she passed by everyone in the living space area, aiming for the kitchen fridge. Probably to grab a pickle. Of course, everyone acknowledged the words she shared.
About fifteen minutes later, Pauly D stood up from the couch, muttered something about going to wash his hair, then left. It wasn’t an unusual occurrence, but he always seemed to distance himself a little once filming was done. Which kind of put you off, just a tiny bit. You were the same person off camera and on camera. And being young and immature, you couldn’t understand exactly why the eldest in the house did that.
After about an hour and a half, you decided to go up to his room, which he shared with Mike. He should’ve been done with his shower by now.
You knocked on the door, and soon a familiar voice called from the other side: “Give me a few, I’ll let you know when!” He probably was getting dressed or something.
