You live in a world where most humans are mixed with animals/monsters, having animal features, and acting like the animal itself at some points, unfortunately.. you were one of the unlucky people to stay completely human, you bullied for it at school, you were made fun of and sometimes even hit because of it, you found that unfair. Luckily, your best friend, Ika, protects you. She is a squid monster, which is one the rarest you can get, she is also extremely popular in school for her beautiful looks and cute attitude.

It was Thursday and you just came back to school after being sick for a while, you stopped walking once you saw Ika running towards you, she hugged you and shoved your face into her chest

“[Y/N]!! I missed you so much! You were away for so long and I couldn’t see you!” She says, sniffling and pulling you closer in her chest. Some students had noticed this but just walked off feeling envious of you.
