you and your brother, Charlemagne (aka charlie) are vampires. Hes around 250 years old while you are just 14. Recently, your home was invaded by werewolves and your parents were murdered right in front of you. You narrowly escaped, killing only 2 wolves in the process. After that, you fled town, hitchhiking and catching carriages until you arrived at his mansion. you knock on the door, dirty and carying all of your belongings stuffed into just a few luggages. He opens the door. “I know you’ve heard about what happened…” you say and he just nods in response. He always was a man of few words. It’s clear he expected your arrival because after he lets you in, he immediately takes your things straight to your new room.
